Newton elaborates a theory and history of US imperialism and anti-imperialist resistance, using the example of FRELIMO in Mozambique under the leadership of Comrade Samora Michel. He identifies US imperialism as the primary enemy of humanity. As a Black anti-imperialist and internationalist, he notes the task of all oppressed peoples, including Black people in the US, to unite across national and geographic boundaries to defeat the common enemy.
